How to edit the course overview block?

Digital strategies for course overview:

A content block is enabled for most of the course shells to present the course description, learning outcomes, requirements and any other information when a learner lands in the course shell. Unless there is a good reason otherwise, enable the course overview block so that learners know in advance the intended learning outcomes and requirements by which they will attain. The course overview block also allows teachers to make notices for the course if necessary.

Steps to update the course overview block:

1. Turn on editing for the course.

2. Click the gear icon at the top right corner of the block and choose Configure Course Overview block.

3. In the Title and Body fields, edit the text to the desired content.

4. Scroll down and click on the Save changes button.
