After viewing this recording, viewers will be able to: explain the video recording process, describe best practices and tips for recording and sharing video files, and identify tools and resources for producing quality video recordings.

Facilitator + Speaker

Ilana Bayer (@IlanaBayer) is Director of Learning Technologies as well as Assistant Professor in the Department of Pathology & Molecular Medicine. Dr. Bayer has worked in the corporate sector developing educational and performance-based training materials. She has a combined background in health sciences, e-learning, teaching and training. In her role, Dr. Bayer assists faculty with all learning technology needs and, specifically, supports faculty development around the use of electronic modalities to enhance teaching.

Speaker

Nicholas Hoskin is the AV/IT Specialist for the Program for Faculty Development and Learning Technologies Lab at McMaster University. Nicholas has a B.A and M.A from McMaster in Multimedia and Digital Media, respectively. With a background in livestreaming and new media, Nicholas works to assist all those with technical and media-based issues by creating resources applicable to all with eLearning needs.
